WFMW Butter Wrappers

This may seem silly, but hey, it works for me. We love butter at our house and use it freely and with a smile. When I open a stick of butter I throw the wrapper in a ziplock bag in the fridge.

Then, when I need to grease a pan I grab one of the wrappers and just go to town.

No, I'm not throwing a gang symbol. Just trying to grease and take a picture at the same time.

Now get on over to Rocks In My Dryer and check out some other ideas.

  1. You are so hilarious about the gang sign. This is a great idea. Since finding The Pioneer Woman's blog, I too have been using a ton of butter. I'll start using this technique. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This is a great idea! We use so much butter around here I wonder sometimes if it's sinful... :)

  4. That is a great idea! We are lovers of the butter also. Now, can you come up with something to do with the cream cheese wrapper? Other than me stand their and lick it?

  8. One time I actually finished a stick of butter on a recipe that needed a greased pan, so I used the wrapper and thought "Oh this worked out cool!"

But it never ONCE entered my mind to save future wrappers so I could repeat the convenience! DUH! I feel so silly! Thanks for the great tip!!!

I've been hopping from blog to blog tonight and finding all kinds of Indiana bloggers! It's so nice to know there are others out there!

I'll have to stop back. :)
