When we pulled out the mega bottle of bubbles someone (Chloe) had added dirt and mulch to the bottle during the last bubble event and it was a slimy, nasty mess and wouldn't blow a single bubble. So, we made our own bubbles with this recipe from Make and Takes. And they worked great!
The bubble wand is from the Dollar Spot at Target. The kids were begging for a turn, but I was having so much fun I just kept swatting them away.
I finally gave them a turn. This was also a big day because it was the first time they have had temporary tattoos (they are so deprived)
We even had two hummingbird visitors during Bubble Fest 
Watch out for that wand!
